The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) educators provide memorable experiences for ISKL students. The purpose of an Elementary School(ES) Art Teacher is to provide a well-rounded art education to students in ISKL elementary grades. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate art lessons, developing and implementing a comprehensive art curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents, and collaborating with other teachers and staff members to integrate art into other subjects and plan school-wide events and activities.
Ultimately, the ES Art Teacher aims to foster creativity, imagination, and critical thinking skills in their students, while also helping them to develop an appreciation and understanding of art and guiding them to become global citizens who are able to appreciate the cultural diversity of the world around them.
