We are seeking an accomplished Electronics / System Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced machine control systems, embedded electronics, and automation platforms for high-performance strapping and packaging machinery. Localization activities for electrical and electronic components, including alternative component evaluation, supplier coordination, technical validation, and documentation updates.
Support product engineering changes through feasibility reviews, design verification, prototype testing, and release of engineering change documentation.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and SCM teams to ensure localized parts meet performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
Review electrical schematics, wiring layouts, control panels, PCB-related requirements, and interface specifications to support new product development and product improvement.
Translate machine functions and customer requirements into practical electronics, software, and automation modules suitable for production implementation.
Provide technical support for machine issues related to electronics, PLC, HMI, sensors, actuators, drives, control panels, and communication interfaces.
Perform structured troubleshooting using root-cause analysis, electrical measurements, software diagnostics, test results, and machine behavior observations.
Support Manufacturing, Service, and Quality teams during prototype builds, production trials, machine commissioning, and field issue investigations.
Prepare clear technical reports, corrective action summaries, test records, and work instructions to support issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
Identify improvement opportunities in machine reliability, control performance, wiring design, component selection, assembly efficiency, and serviceability.
Drive engineering improvements through design optimization, standardization, failure analysis, lessons learned, and validation testing.
Support cost-down and localization initiatives while maintaining technical integrity, machine safety, and long-term product reliability.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions based on production feedback, service data, and quality findings.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, embedded software, and machine control logic for industrial packaging machinery.
Support integration of sensors, motors, actuators, drives, safety devices, and industrial communication protocols into complete machine control systems.
Define control concepts, operating sequences, I/O requirements, alarm logic, diagnostic functions, and machine interface behavior.
Conduct functional testing, software validation, machine trials, and technical reviews to ensure stable and reliable automation performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2–3 years of practical experience in machine development, automation engineering, embedded systems, or industrial equipment design.
Experience developing machine control systems, automation systems, or embedded control architectures from concept to implementation.
Ability to translate system requirements into clear, practical, and technically sound functional designs.
Experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems involving PLCs, embedded controllers, motion systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
Familiarity with engineering change management (ECN/ECR), product validation, and design-for-manufacturing practices.
Strong programming skills in C.
Experience with MPLAB X IDE and Microchip microcontrollers.
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
Experience with B&R Automation Studio.
Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, embedded systems, and machine control architectures.
Understanding of industrial communication protocols and system integration.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Demonstrate an innovative, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
