Job summary

Mega Fortris Group is seeking an Automation Engineer in Shah Alam to manage maintenance and development of automation systems. You will perform regular and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support new project development with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include commissioning new solutions, documenting maintenance records, and producing URS materials. Strong analytical and communication skills in English and Bahasa are required; knowledge of Python, C++, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Control Systems/ Manufacturing/ Electronics.
• Fresh graduates or experienced.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa and English, Mandarin is an added advantage.
• PLC, sensors, actuator knowledge.
• Computer usage, MS Office.
• Programming knowledge: Python, C++, Machine vision, AI are added advantages.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and preventive maintenance on automation machines to ensure optimal condition and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot automation machine malfunctions and diagnose repair needs across mechanical/electrical domains.
• Assist automation project manager to develop new automation solutions; prepare paperwork and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Involve in commissioning new solutions or machines and ensure proper integration with existing production processes.
• Prepare records for maintenance, modification and issues; produce URS documentation and detailed technical reports.

Automation process maintenance

conduct regular and preventive maintenance on automation machine and process to ensure optimal working condition and minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair

troubleshoot automation machine malfunction. perform diagnose and repair the mechanical, electrical and efficiency.

New Project Development

Assist automation project manager to develop new automation solution. prepare paperwork, proposal and project coordination. Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams, external vendors and machine builders to manage design requirements successfully .

Project commissioning

Involves in new solution or machine commissioning and ensuring new solution or machine are working as intended. provide technical expertise during installation, troubleshooting any issue to ensure seamless integration and functionality within existing production process.

Documentation and reporting

prepare record for machine maintenance, modification, and issues. prepare material to build URS for new machine or solution. prepare detailed technical report for the engineering of automation machine and management review.

Strong analytical ,problem solving skills, fault finding action planning, communication skills both oral and written .

Requirements:

At least Bachelor’s Degree in related fields (Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Control System/ Manufacturing, Electronics)

Fresh graduates or experienced.

Able to communicate in Bahasa and English, Mandarin is added advantages.
