Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Malaysia is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor to join our Penang operations. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to meet quality, cost, delivery and safety targets in a highly technical manufacturing environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in production/manufacturing and at least six years of operations experience. You will coach operators, optimize processes, manage schedules, and ensure training and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in production/manufacturing.
• 6 years of operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team comprising professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and safety targets.
• Review plant performance and advise on operational changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators to improve performance.
• Coordinate with engineers on plant improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Ensure training and certification of manufacturing personnel and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Assist in budget planning and department expense management.
