Job summary

STERLING GENERATORS MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer & Document Controller to develop detailed electrical and mechanical designs for buildings and industrial projects. You will manage all project documentation, ensure accurate revisions, and coordinate with teams and clients to meet standards and approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks and BIM, and a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electro‑mechanical design and document control experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, and BIM (Revit or similar).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems design for buildings, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed electrical and mechanical designs, drawings, and schematics using AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, and BIM software.
• Manage project documentation as Document Controller, including drawing revisions, technical specifications, as-built drawings, submittals, and tracking.
• Perform design reviews and coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure compliance with standards (MS, IEC, etc.).
• Update and maintain document control systems, version control, and document registers.
• Support design modifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions for approval.
