Job summary

Chong Wah Plastics Sdn Bhd in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to operate and monitor steam boilers and electrical systems safely. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime in a fast-paced plastics plant.

The role requires an Electrician Competency Certificate and Boilerman Certificate, willingness to work shifts, and strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Electrician Competency Certificate and Boilerman Certificate.
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance, boiler operation, and industrial safety.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and boiler equipment.
• Willing to work shifts and respond to emergencies.

Job description

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers and auxiliary equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, and plant equipment.

Respond to electrical and boiler breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Carry out preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.

Ensure compliance with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) requirements.

Report equipment abnormalities and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
