Qualifications

• Recognised qualification or certification in boiler operation and maintenance.
• Proven experience working as a Boilerman in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, steam generation and associated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and testing of boiler equipment and related systems.
• Monitor pressure gauges, temperature readings and other operational parameters to maintain safe working conditions.
• Perform routine cleaning, servicing and repairs of boilers and associated pipework.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of boiler operations, maintenance activities and fuel consumption.
• Identify potential issues and report faults or malfunctions promptly to ensure timely rectification.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations relating to boiler operations.
• Assist in training and supporting junior staff or apprentices as required.
• Respond to emergency situations and perform troubleshooting when boiler systems malfunction.

About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilerman to join our team at Kayel Rubber Products Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Perai, Penang. As a Boilerman, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating our boiler systems, which are essential to our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our heating and steam generation systems, directly supporting our production capabilities and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities
