Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform daily operation and maintenance of power distribution systems, electrical and instrumentation installations, and routine repairs. You will conduct inspections, housekeeping, safety hazard rectifications, participate in accident analysis, review temporary power measures, and attend trainings, reporting to leadership.

Candidates should have high school education, a major in Electrical Engineering or related field,

Qualifications

• High school education or above.
• Major in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Possession of high-voltage/low-voltage electrician certificates and a working-at-heights certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily team work arrangements, including routine operation and maintenance of power distribution systems, daily repair and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, as well as electrical and instrumentation installation work.
• Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and safety hazard rectification for local power distribution systems.
• Participate in the analysis of electrical equipment accidents.
• Review temporary power usage safety measures.
• Attend various management system trainings organized at the team, department, and manufacturer levels.
• Complete other tasks assigned by leadership.
