Pokka is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly, with focus on compliance and efficiency.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, a valid Chargeman A0 certificate, and hands-on knowledge of LV switchboards, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, and generators. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

Education as required: SPM/SKM/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Valid power personnel certificate: Suruhanjaya Tenaga Chargeman A0.
2–3 years electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
Experience with LV switchboards, MCC, MCCB/ACB, motors, VFD/inverters, transformers, generators and protection systems.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
Comply with and improve process requirements and efficiency.
Complete daily assignments before end of shift.
Maintain equipment operation through troubleshooting, repair, calibration and following operation guidelines.
Organize workflow and ensure tasks are delegated effectively.
Ensure SOPs are followed at all times.

Requirements

Education: SPM / SKM / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Competency: Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga Chargeman A0 certificate
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environment
Preferred: Experience with LV switchboards, MCC, MCCB/ACB, motors, VFD/inverters, transformers, generators, protection systems, and electrical troubleshooting
Additional advantage: Chargeman A4/A4-1/A4-2 competency and experience with standby generators.
