Job summary

Ansell is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Kulim team, working on electrical troubleshooting, wiring installations and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment. You will perform repairs, conduct SOP checklist inspections, and ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, and environmental and quality policies.

English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required. Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred; candidates with relevant experience are welcome; shift

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Carry out repair work on electrical equipment and systems.
• Electrical wiring installation and maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance and SOP checklist inspections.
• Follow SOP, 5S and GMP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and quality policies.
• Work in shifts as required.

What your role will be?

• Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair
• Perform electrical troubleshooting activities.
• Carry out repair work on electrical equipment and systems.
• Electrical Wiring Installation
• Install and maintain electrical wiring systems.
• Preventive Maintenance
• Carry out preventive maintenance work.
• Conduct SOP checklist inspections on temperature controllers.
• Assigned Duties
• Undertake instructions and tasks delegated by immediate supervisors and engineering management.
• Compliance and Workplace Standards
• Ensure all work practices comply with company environmental and quality policies.
• Follow SOP, 5S and GMP requirements.
• SOP and GMP Compliance
• Perform all work activities according to environmental, quality, SOP, 5S and GMP standards.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Candidates with relevant working experience may also be considered.

Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge and experience.

Knowledge of industrial electrical wiring installation.

Basic knowledge of IEE Wiring Regulations and JPE Acts.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to work in a warm, humid and noisy environment.

Able to work on shifts.
