Job summary

Klose Industrial Service Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled electrical specialist to conduct installation, wiring, commissioning and testing of machine/equipment, on-site or at client sites. You will read circuit diagrams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety compliance.

Expect national and international travel as a prerequisite for this role. Daily duties include wiring, cable routing, control panel connections, 5S, and basic maintenance while maintaining accurate records and adhering to ISO

Qualifications

• Proficient in electrical installation and wiring.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong safety adherence and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, cable routing, and control panel connections.
• Read and interpret circuit blueprints and diagrams.
• Perform maintenance, testing and commissioning of machines/equipment.
• Identify and repair electrical malfunctions; ensure high-quality electrical operations.
• Conduct 5S and regular cleaning; keep records of work performed.
• Travel nationally and internationally for extended periods as required.

Job description

Conduct electrical installation, connection, wiring, commissioning, and testing of machine- and/or equipment of both new or existing machines and/or equipment.

Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, cable termination, and control panel connections.

Install cable trays, conduits, trunking, and electrical support systems.

Identify, troubleshoot and repair of electrical malfunctions and breakdowns.

Ensure electrical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.

Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Support KLOSE core activities such as rigging, moving and lifting activities and any other tasks requested by the respective supervisor.

Operate heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks.

Follow up and fully adhere to our customer’s rules & regulations to avoid or minimize the cause of possible hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.

Identify, report and eliminate unsafe conditions and/or unsafe actions as well as incidents.

Conduct all works according to safety requirements and always wear the required PPE.

Carry out 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize andsustain) and machine/equipment cleaning regularly, and ensure that the workplace is maintained in a clean and good working order.

Conduct daily housekeeping, any cleaning work and basic maintenance at customer site and our facilities.

Make suitable written records of all works carried out, and keep in accord with company procedures.

Keep honest and accurate records for hours consumed to perform the assigned tasks.

Participate in frequent skills and safety trainings to improve self and the ability to have a greater impact on the successful completion of our projects.

Travel national and internationally for extended periods of time as it is a prerequisite of this position.

Perform any other project related ad-hoc duties, e. g. supporting other team members.
