Themetech International in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform installation, testing, and maintenance on project works in line with approved drawings and safety requirements.
You will read electrical drawings, run cable routes, connect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with engineers to ensure timely project execution and compliance with safety standards.

To perform electrical installation, equipment hookup, testing, and maintenance activities for project works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Carry out electrical installation works including power distribution, cable pulling and routing, cable termination, conduit/trunking installation, and equipment hookup activities.
Perform electrical hookup works for machinery, equipment, panels, and systems according to project requirements.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
Troubleshooting electrical issues and rectification works during installation.
Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are safely handled.
Complete daily work reports and update progress to the supervisor.
Follow all company safety rules, site regulations, and permit-to-work requirements.
Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Automation Engineering / building electrical installation, or construction projects.
Experience in electrical installation works including power distribution, lighting systems, small power, cable pulling, cable termination, testing and commissioning.
Familiar with industrial automation / building electrical systems, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and as-built documentation.
Able to perform electrical troubleshooting, rectification works, and preventive maintenance activities.
Familiar with electrical testing equipment and procedures (e.g., insulation resistance test, continuity test, and polarity test).
Good understanding of electrical safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and site safety practices.
Able to work independently and coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.
Willing to work overtime and support project requirements when required.
