Job summary

Opal Unite Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to supervise and monitor electrical works at project sites in Johor Bahru. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project standards, and prepare essential shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, with on-site construction or M&E exposure and strong communication, coordination and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in construction / M&E is an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing Material Submissions, Shop Drawings and Method Statements is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical works at project sites.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and standards.
• Prepare and review Shop Drawings, Method Statements and Material Submissions.
• Prepare Material Submissions and obtain approval from Consultant/Client.
• Review technical specifications and ensure materials meet requirements.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers on technical matters.
• Monitor progress, quality and workmanship of electrical works.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at site.
• Ensure works are completed according to the project programme.
• Prepare relevant reports and technical documentation.
