Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a candidate with a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering to support M&E system construction, shop drawings and as-built documentation for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities include ensuring works meet contract specifications, coordinating with consultants and contractors, preparing progress claims, and maintaining ISO records. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD is preferred; at least 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
• Candidate have ever expose to commercial building.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Good in Analysis, Design skills, Project Management and Procedures, Process Improvement.
• Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management and Supervision.
• Have experience in handling commercial buildings project.

Responsibilities

• To prepare Construction, Shop drawing & As built drawing for M&E System.
• To ensure works are done as per contract's specification.
• To assist pre-contract & tender division with tender support for Electrical & ELV services/project support.
• To coordinate, monitor and review construction work progress.
• To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.
• Inspection and reporting of installation works completed by Contractor.
• Ensuring all materials delivered to site conform with the approved specifications and Contract requirements.
• Identifying all outstanding work to be carried out timely to meet the timeline stipulated in the Contracts.
• Identifying potential problems and delay at site and report regularly to superiors on the progress of works.
• Filing of all relevant forms, documents, reports, correspondence and records in accordance with ISO requirement.
• To verify subcontractor, claim progress and prepare progress claim for submission to client/consultant according to site monthly progress.
• Attend and coordinate all M&E matters with various Consultants, Contractors and relevant Authorities.
• Review and ensure M&E layout design in terms of functionality, build ability, maintainability, cost efficiency, and sustainability aspects are complied with.
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants for M&E submissions and approvals.
