Job summary

One Ocean Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Project Engineer to oversee field execution and coordination. You will implement Engineer's instructions, supervise subcontractors and workers, and ensure daily progress reports and requisitions are properly documented.

The role requires site inspections, planning daily activities for machinery and manpower, and liaising with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve obstructions and ensure compliance with project procedures.

Responsibilities

• 1. Implement the Project Engineer’s Instructions to subordinates/sub-contractors.
• 2. Supervise the sub-contractors/technician/foreman/general workers in performing their works per Project Engineer’s Instructions.
• 3. Conduct and check performance of sub-contractors/subordinates per Engineer’s Instructions.
• 4. Conduct daily site inspections.
• 5. Submit daily progress reports and work completed.
• 6. Submit daily material requisition reports.
• 7. Submit daily manpower reports.
• 8. Safekeep site tools, equipment and instrumentation.
• 9. Verify purchase requisitions for sub-contractor materials.
• 10. Ensure adherence to project operation and document control procedures including RFI.
• 11. Plan and monitor daily activities for machinery and workers.
• 12. Attend site coordination/progress meetings with Contractor, Consultant and Client.
• 13. Liaise with other contractor site installations to resolve issues.
• 14. Assist Engineer with as-built drawings based on site rectifications.
• 15. Perform any other duties as assigned by time to time.
