Job summary

SInar TM Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Coordinator (Electrical Engineering) to support planning, scheduling, and documentation for industrial projects across Malaysia. You will coordinate with engineers, vendors, and clients while tracking risks, budgets, and progress.

The role involves site visits, quality control, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus basic project management tools proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• Completed coursework related to project management, engineering processes or construction.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with engineering processes, drawings, and specifications is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning Support - Assist with the creation of project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
• Documentation and Reporting - Maintain and organize project documentation and prepare progress reports and status updates.
• Communication and Coordination - Liaise between project teams, engineers, vendors and clients for smooth communication.
• Risk Management and Issue Tracking - Identify risks and issues related to timelines, budgets or quality and track resolutions.
• Budget and Resource Management - Track project costs, budgets and resources to keep scope.
• Site Visits and Fieldwork - Participate in site visits to monitor progress and report findings to senior engineers.
• Quality Control and Compliance - Ensure projects meet engineering standards and safety guidelines.
