Job summary

Goodwill Square (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems for cranes and related lifting equipment.

The role ensures safe, reliable, and uninterrupted crane operations through preventive maintenance, breakdown response and equipment testing. The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crane electrical and control systems, troubleshoot motors and control panels, respond to breakdowns,

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with cranes, hoists or lifting equipment is an added advantage.
• Able to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
• Safety-conscious and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
• Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating-shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crane electrical and control systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, control panels, wiring, brakes, sensors, limit switches and related components.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out corrective repairs promptly.
• Conduct authorised equipment testing after maintenance work.
• Support crane operations and report recurring faults or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, breakdown and spare-parts records.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including required permits, lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
• Perform other maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor.

Working Schedule

• 12-hour shifts

• Four working days per week
