Job summary

Team Printers Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Penang. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery, troubleshoot faults, install and commission electrical systems, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field, at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing electrical maintenance,

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production machines and plant facilities.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, motors, control panels, sensors, and lighting systems.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Identify root causes of recurring electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Record maintenance activities and machine history.
• Monitor the condition of electrical systems and recommend replacement before failure.
• Update equipment maintenance records.
• Recommend improvements to increase machine reliability and reduce downtime.
