Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the Assistant Manager in managing corrective, preventive, and CAPEX electrical projects, ensuring high reliability of the electrical system.

You will maintain electrical installations, prepare maintenance work packages, plan HV/MV/LV maintenance, and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain windows and approvals. Strong planning, communication, and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in electrical.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Malay.
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical installations in good condition and functioning.
• Prepare work packages (manpower, spare parts, consumables and tools) for planned maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate HV/MV/LV/E-Block maintenance to improve accessibility.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Operation/Service Provider for maintenance windows.
• Develop business cases and documentation to support projects.
• Analyze data related to energy consumption and sustainability.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns and ensure schedules.
• Ensure maintenance by service providers meets quality standards.
• Attend on-call duty for major breakdowns or emergencies.
• Comply with local legislation and safety requirements.
