Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support maintenance, preventive and CAPEX projects, ensuring high reliability of the electrical system at the port.

You will plan work packages, coordinate with teams, review energy use and safety compliance, and ensure adherence to regulations.

Requires degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years' experience; strong planning, documentation, and communication skills in English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical work
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Eye for detail and accuracy
• Able to communicate in English and Malay

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical installations in good condition and proper functioning
• Prepare work packages (manpower, spare parts, consumables and tools) for planned maintenance
• Plan and coordinate HV/MV/LV/E-Block maintenance activities to enhance accessibility
• Coordinate with Engineering/Operation/Service Provider for maintenance windows
• Develop business cases and documentation to support projects
• Coordinate and assist Energy Manager in Energy Management System reporting
