Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced electrical engineer to design, evaluate, and upgrade distribution systems, including load calculations and sizing.

You will lead infrastructure projects from conception through installation, testing, and commissioning, perform technical audits, and establish predictive maintenance frameworks.

Collaborate with external M&E contractors, review specifications, monitor power quality, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience since graduation.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and upgrade electrical distribution systems, including load calculations and sizing.
• Lead electrical infrastructure projects from conception through to installation, testing and final commissioning.
• Conduct technical audits and root-cause analyses of major equipment failures, and establish predictive maintenance frameworks.
• Review, update, and approve technical specifications, engineering drawings (AutoCAD) and project cost estimations.
• Oversee external M&E contractors, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline metrics.
• Drive energy-saving initiatives and monitor power quality (harmonic analysis, power factor).
• Collaborate with statutory Chargemen to ensure full legal compliance across factory/building operations.
