Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking a field technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and to troubleshoot faults.

You will conduct insulation, continuity, and earth testing, support calibration of electrical safety devices, and ensure proper tagging and lock-out/tag-out during work.

Experience with instrumentation and DCS/PLC control loops is a plus; join a team delivering reliable process operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults including short circuits and motor trips.
• Perform insulation resistance, continuity and earth testing.
• Assist calibration and maintenance of electrical safety devices.
• Ensure proper tagging, isolation and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO).
• Install, calibrate and maintain process instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Inspect and troubleshoot field transmitters, control valves, sensors, and analyzers.

Ensure all instruments are functioning accurately and aligned with process requirements.

Assist in maintaining and tuning DCS/PLC control loops.
