Job summary

Analytical Solution & Engineering in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation technician to perform installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance at customer sites. The role requires independent work, safe practices, and strong communication.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation, with hands-on experience preferred and a willingness to travel across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation work is preferred.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and testing procedures.
• Able to work independently at project/customer sites.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and work at different sites when required.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment according to required procedures.
• Perform on-site testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare calibration records, service reports, and relevant documentation.
• Identify technical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with project teams and customers at site.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to company procedures.
• Able to travel to customer/project sites when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
