Job summary

Promserv Sdn Bhd is seeking engineers to support the engineering department in predictive and preventive maintenance of electrical power systems, including technical audits and site acceptance tests on ONLINE systems without affecting plant operation.

The role covers Industry 4.0 initiatives such as IoT, big data analytics, and defect detection to manage asset health long before failure, with live diagnosis technology and online monitoring on critical assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform system studies and technical audit on electrical installation.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification on power systems, adopting our patented 'Live Diagnosis' technology.
• Perform predictive ONLINE maintenance on electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on electrical assets.
• Implement Online Monitoring Solutions on critical assets such as switchgears, power transformers.
• Utilize Industry 4.0 solutions to conduct Online Monitoring of critical assets on Promserv Analytics big data platform.
• Perform Site Commissioning Test (SAT) on systems up to 275kV.
• Candidates will be trained to conduct non-intrusive predictive maintenance and calibration tests on electrical protection equipment using state-of-the-art technologies, including our Patented 'Live and Loaded' Testing Method.

Job description

This position supports the engineering department in the predictive & preventive maintenance of electrical power systems including conducting technical audit, site acceptance tests on ONLINE systems without affecting plant operation.

This includes implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives and tools including internet of things (IoT), big data analytics, defect detection to manage the health conditions of assets long before they fail.

JOB SCOPE

Perform system studies and technical audit on electrical installation.

Perform predictive ONLINE maintenance on electrical systems.

Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on electrical assets.
