Job summary

Nvsion Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled engineer to design circuits and PCBs for imaging and control, and to integrate cameras with frame grabbers and PCs at customer sites.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial automation or related fields, strong analog/digital design skills, and willingness to travel for installations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3+ years in industrial automation, machine vision, or semiconductor equipment.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design skills.
• Experience with servo motion control and encoder feedback.
• Confident with oscilloscopes and lab debugging.
• Willing to travel for installations.

Responsibilities

• Design circuits and PCBs for imaging, illumination, and control.

Job description

Design circuits and PCBs for imaging, illumination, and control

Integrate industrial cameras (CoaXPress, Camera Link, GigE) with frame grabbers and PCs

Set up precision motion systems — servo drives, linear stages, encoders — and synchronise them with image capture

Design control panels, power distribution, and cable harnesses

Wire up safety circuits: E-stops, interlocks, light curtains

Debug prototypes in the lab and commission machines at customer sites

Keep schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs up to date

Configure EtherCAT or equivalent deterministic fieldbus networks

Understanding of remote I/O, sensors, and actuators

Requirement

3+ years in industrial automation, machine vision, or semiconductor equipment

Advantage

Basic understanding of optics for power calculations
