Job summary

ECOSYS (MALAYSIA) BERHAD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical control systems for industrial abatement equipment. The role includes panel design, component selection, PLC programming, and commissioning support.

You will design control panels, source critical components, perform power analysis, and develop schematics with AutoCAD Electrical. Collaboration with global clients and hands-on development are key parts of this position.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in industrial automation, machinery design, or power systems.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronic Engineering.
• Proficiency in Electrical CAD.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of industrial electrical control panels, ensuring proper thermal management and component spacing.
• Component selection: specify and source critical components including Circuit Breakers, Contactors, PLCs, VFDs, Relays, and Power Supplies.
• Perform power consumption analysis to determine wire sizing, fusing, and overall system amperage requirements.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical).
• Ensure all drawings comply with industrial standards (IEC, UL, or local MS standards).
• Develop or assist in PLC programming and HMI interface design to automate the abatement process.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical control systems for our industrial abatement equipment. This role covers panel design, component selection, PLC programming, and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and layout of industrial electrical control panels, ensuring proper thermal management and component spacing within the enclosure.
• Component Selection: Specify and source critical components including Circuit Breakers, Contactors, PLCs, VFDs, Relays, and Power Supplies.
• Perform power consumption analysis to determine wire sizing, fusing, and overall system amperage requirements.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics (Single Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, I/O Maps) using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical).
• Ensure all drawings comply with industrial standards (IEC, UL, or local MS standards).
• Develop or assist in PLC programming and HMI interface design to automate the abatement process.
• Integrate feedback loops for temperature, pressure, and flow sensors into the main control system.
• Supervise the assembly of the electrical panel and perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Troubleshoot electrical faults during the prototype and commissioning phases.
