Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering.
• Industry experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
• Hands-on experience with production automation, robotics, motor controls and machine systems.
• Proficient in reading/creating circuit diagrams and in machine programming (PLCs/HMIs/SCADA).

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and automated machinery within our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that production equipment operates with maximum efficiency, safety, and quality. You will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, optimize automated processes, oversee equipment installations, and collaborate across departments to drive productivity and minimize operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Design & Software Programming

Design electrical circuit diagrams, control schematics, and system layouts for production machinery.

Develop, modify, and optimize PLC/automation software programs to ensure seamless equipment operation.

Establish and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for all electrical components and engineering projects.

Machine Effectiveness & Production Optimization

Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by prioritizing output quantity, product quality, and strict safety standards.

Optimize production efficiency through standardized electrical wiring, control system logic, and routine system enhancements.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues rapidly to minimize production downtime.

Maintain strong cost awareness by monitoring project expenditures and managing actual expenses against established budgets.

Identify and implement continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and extend machinery lifespans.

Operational & Cross-Functional Support

Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintenance and production teams.

Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new electrical equipment and system upgrades.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.

Industry Experience: Proven track record working as an Electrical Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.

Automation & Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with production automation, industrial robotics, motor controls, and machine control systems.

Programming & Design: Proficient in reading and creating circuit diagrams/schematics and experience with machine programming (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, or SCADA systems).
