Job summary

KLANGGROUP is seeking an Electrical Draughtsman to prepare and refine M&E drawings using AutoCAD, and contribute to electrical and piping systems detail in line with project specs.

With 2+ years of experience, you will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, ensure accuracy, and assist throughout the project lifecycle. On-site duties and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in electrical engineering, drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP and BIM modelling are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and maintain M&E drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce detailed drawings for electrical, cold water, sanitary, drainage, and fire systems.
• Revise drawings per engineer, consultant, client, or site feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs and company standards.
• Maintain drawing revisions, records, and filing; support project teams.
• Attend coordination meetings to minimize design conflicts and ensure constructability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities :

Prepare, update, and maintain M&E drawings, shop drawings using AutoCAD.

Produce detailed drawings for: Electrical systems, Cold water supply systems, Sanitary and drainage piping systems, Fire protection systems.

Revise drawings based on engineer, consultant, client, or site feedback.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and company drafting practices.

Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and filing records.

Support engineers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Attend coordination meetings and review M&E drawings with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to minimize design conflicts and ensure constructability.

Other duties and assignments are to be assigned by the management as and when necessary.

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Draughter.

Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit (MEP) and BIM modelling will be an added advantage.

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Experience in BIM coordination and Revit MEP modelling will be advantages.

Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-development projects is an advantage.
