Job description

Operate, monitor and maintain 11kV high-voltage electrical systems and related factory electrical installations.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment.

Perform routine inspections, identify electrical faults and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.

Monitor electrical system performance and take appropriate action to prevent operational disruptions.

Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical safety regulations, company SOPs and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs and electrical incidents.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers for electrical servicing, testing and repairs.

Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety procedures, including isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO), where applicable.

Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns when required.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical system reliability and workplace safety.

Job Requirements

Possess a valid Chargeman competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga, appropriate to the installation and job scope.

Have 1–3 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a factory, industrial or manufacturing environment.

Have practical knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, preferably involving 11kV installations.

Understand electrical safety procedures, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.

Able to identify electrical faults and carry out maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willing to work in Gua Musang, Kelantan.
