Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Chargeman for routine inspections and preventive maintenance of high voltage electrical systems, including solar energy infrastructure. You will coordinate with utility providers and ensure compliance with Electrical Supply Act.

Applicants should hold an Electrical Power Engineering Professional Certificate and Chargeman BO 11kV, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Electrical Power Engineering Professional Certificate is required.
• Chargeman BO 11kV certification is required.
• Technical skills in High Voltage Chargeman is required.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is required.
• Good interpersonal skills and analytical mind are essential.
• Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance on switchgear, transformers, MSB and genset rooms.
• Liaise with utility providers and regulatory bodies on compliance issues.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure safe operation of high-tension power supply.
• Maintain plant electrical facilities and equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Coordinate with solar system vendors to review maintenance guidelines and compliance issues.
• Monitor solar power generation and usage; report findings to supervisor.
• Prepare and follow maintenance checklists for factory solar energy system.

Description du poste

This role involves carrying out routine inspections, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance on all switchboard, circuit breakers, transformers switch gears and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, MSB room and genset room. You will be responsible as 11kv high tension chargeman, preparing, planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring preventive, predictive, condition monitoring and breakdown maintenance of electrical supply and distribution. You will be responsible for the safety and proper operation of high-tension power supply.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance on all switchboard, circuit breakers, transformers switch gears and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, MSB room and genset room
• Liaise with utility provider and regulatory body such as TNB and Suruhjaya Tenaga on utility service and compliance issue
• Prepare, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor preventive, predictive, condition monitoring and breakdown maintenance of electrical supply and distribution
• Ensure safety and proper operation of high-tension power supply
• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machineries and equipment
• Liaise with the solar system manufactured company to review the solar energy system maintenance guidelines and any other compliance issue
• Monitor and record daily input and output reading solar system power generation and power usage and provide a report to the superior
• Plan, prepare, coordinate, implement, and monitor the list of maintenance and preventive maintenance checklist of the factory solar energy system
• Carry out inspections, repairs, corrective and preventive maintenance for the solar energy system including all battery, solar panel, wiring and connections, inverter, control panel system, solar panel roof platform and PV panel
• Liaise, supervise, and monitor external contractor's works and make sure all jobs carry out by contractor are compliance to Electrical Supply Act and regulation
