Jora Malaysia is seeking an EHS Officer to ensure compliance with local authorities and company requirements in operations or projects. The role develops and implements Environmental, Health & Safety programs and conducts risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
The position supports EHS induction and training, endorses permit to work, and coordinates ISO 14001 & 45001 management system updates within manufacturing settings.

In-charge and ensure the compliance of EHS issues in the operations or projects according to local authorities and company requirement.
Develop and implement Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
Schedule and conduct risk and safety audits, meetings, and inspections on a regular basis.
To conduct, lead and participate in risk assessments for safety, health, and environment. (HIRARC and Environmental Aspect Impact)
Participate in accident investigation, review reports and recommend effective mitigation measures.
Support EHS induction, training and promotional activities related to health, safety and environmental.
Endorsement of permit to work system and on-site inspection to ensure safe work procedures are being followed.
Responsible for planning, reviewing, coordinating, implementing, and updating ISO 14001 & 45001 Management System
Investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning which has happened in the workplace.
What you must have to apply:
Have good knowledge in Management System and statutory requirements.
Experience in handling Schedule Waste.
Experience working in any Manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
Must possess at least diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any field related to Environmental, Health and Safety.
