We are looking for a responsible and hands-on EHS Executive to join our manufacturing team and take charge of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) matters at the factory.
This position will play an important role in ensuring compliance with Malaysian environmental and occupational safety requirements, particularly following the installation of our new chimney and bag filter system.
EHS EXECUTIVE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Environmental Management
- Manage and monitor the factory's environmental compliance and related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Department of Environment (DOE), consultants and relevant authorities.
- Monitor the operation and performance of the chimney and bag filter system.
- Maintain proper environmental monitoring records, reports and supporting documents.
- Coordinate environmental inspections, testing, maintenance and corrective actions.
- Ensure scheduled waste and other environmental matters are properly managed.
- Follow up on environmental improvement actions and ensure timely closure.
Bag Filter / CePBFO
- Take responsibility for the operation and monitoring of the bag filter system.
- Maintain daily operating records and performance data.
- Coordinate CePBFO (Certified Environmental Professional in Bag Filter Operation) certification/training.
- Work closely with management and external consultants to ensure compliance with DOE requirements.
- Support DOE inspections and environmental audits.
Health & Safety
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Assist in implementing HIRARC, safety procedures and corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety training, toolbox meetings and emergency drills.
- Monitor PPE usage and workplace safety practices.
- Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Support fire safety, emergency preparedness and other workplace safety activities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain EHS records, permits, certificates, inspection reports and training records.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly followed up.
- Prepare regular EHS reports and updates for management.
- Support customer, ISO and regulatory audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of EHS/environmental experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in chimney, air pollution control system, bag filter or DOE compliance will have an advantage.
- Candidates with CePBFO certification are highly preferred.
- Candidates without CePBFO certification but meeting the relevant requirements may be considered and supported for certification.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian DOE/DOSH/EHS requirements.
- Hands‑on, responsible and willing to conduct regular factory inspections.
- Good communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments and external parties.
