Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in Penang is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Officer to oversee the company-wide EHS programs. You will coordinate regulatory compliance, train employees, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

You will develop and maintain safety documentation, manage audits, and partner with operations to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Safety & Health officer.
• Lead auditor for ISO14001 and/or ISO45001 management systems.
• DOSH or DOE competent person may have advantages.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate compliance with state and local EHS regulations.
• Interface with local government authorities for licensing, permits, audits, and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain EHS programs and documentation (Legal Registers, EHS procedures, exposure assessments, Chemical Registers, Safety Data Sheets).
• Partner with site operation to achieve EHS goals/performance.
• Lead Safety Committee Meetings and implement ISO14001/ISO45001 compliant practices.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate training on Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, and other Malaysia EHS requirements.
• Perform ergonomic audits and recommend equipment to prevent injuries.
