Job summary

The role requires strong knowledge of DOSH/DOE regulations, risk assessments, chemical safety, and incident investigations. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure a safe workplace, aligned with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Regulatory and safety knowledge applicable to Malaysia.
• Experience in safety programs and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Malaysian EHS laws, regulations, permits, and company standards.
• Coordinate with DOSH/JKKP, DOE/JAS, BOMBA, and other authorities.
• Support regulatory submissions, inspections, licenses, registrations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS legal registers, records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Manage site chemical inventory, SDS, labeling, storage, compatibility, and handling.
• Support CHRA / USECHH requirements and chemical exposure control.
• Assess risks related to chemicals, GHGs, and storage; implement controls.
• Develop emergency response procedures and drills; ensure readiness.
