Job summary

KAYA RASA SDN. BHD. is seeking an EHS Assistant in Malaysia to support the EHS Manager in documenting and implementing safety, health, and environmental programs.

You will assist with site inspections, incident tracking, CAPA, and regulatory reporting, while coordinating safety awareness activities and training needs to maintain a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS Manager in documentation preparation to ensure full compliance with safety laws, company standards, and certifications like ISO 45001 or ISO 14001
• Assist EHS Manager to conduct regular work site inspections to identify, determine & control/ reduce risk to both properties & people.
• Assist in looking into workplace accidents or near-misses and track safety fixes (Corrective and Preventive Actions / CAPA)
• Maintain logs of safety incidents, waste tracking, and regulatory reports.
• Assist in coordination and implementation to identify safety awareness program, including safety scan, fire drill, among others.
• Work together with the other Department Head to conduct regular safety briefings.
• Assist in the identification of internal training needs of employees with respect to safety health & environment.
• Prepare filings, environmental emissions data, and waste management reports for government agencies
