About the role

We are seeking an experienced EE Service Engineer to join RGS Corporation SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering a strategic opportunity to provide technical expertise and support across our electrical and electronic engineering operations. As an EE Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance and longevity of our electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and the overall success of our service delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance services for electrical and electronic equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance
• Install, commission and configure electrical and electronic systems in accordance with technical specifications and industry standards
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests from clients, minimising downtime and disruption
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of work completed, including maintenance records and fault analysis
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice and recommend solutions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on all service visits and installations
• Maintain service tools and equipment in good working order and manage spare parts inventory
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge with team members

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree level)
• Proven experience working as an electrical or electronic service engineer, ideally in a commercial or industrial environment
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, electronic circuitry, power distribution and control systems
• Competency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic testing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
• Good understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical clients
• Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
