The Education Advisor plays a key role in guiding prospective students and their families through the enrolment process, providing accurate information on academic programs, scholarships, and career pathways. This role involves student recruitment, advising, and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for applications. The Education Advisor also works closely with schools, stakeholders, and internal teams to achieve enrolment targets and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Enrolment
- Provide one‑on‑one consultations to prospective students and parents, offering guidance on suitable programs, scholarships, and career opportunities.
- Assist students in the application and admission process, ensuring a smooth and hassle‑free experience.
- Follow up with potential students through phone calls, emails, and face‑to‑face meetings to support their decision‑making process.
- Conduct campus tours, showcasing facilities and highlighting key program offerings.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student inquiries, applications, and enrolment progress in the CRM system.

Student Recruitment & Marketing
- Participate in education fairs, exhibitions, and open days to promote the institution and attract potential students.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, career counsellors, and industry partners to enhance student referrals.
- Assist in organising workshops, talks, and information sessions for prospective students.

Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to provide ongoing support and follow‑ups.
- Work closely with the admission team to process applications efficiently and provide accurate documentation.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES
Minimum Academic Qualification
- Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
Experience
- Candidates with 3-5 years of working experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education industry.
Core Competencies
- Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu. Proficiency in Mandarin and other dialects will be an added advantage.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft, CRM or related software.
