Job summary

AGEMSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Education Counsellor for international enrolment to guide students through admissions to colleges and universities in Malaysia and abroad.

You will liaise with partner institutions, handle inquiries from walk-ins, email, and calls, and support visa, accommodation, scholarships, and travel arrangements to ensure a smooth enrolment journey.

Qualifications

• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and takes pride in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of every application and document.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective counselling services to students seeking admissions in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.
• Liaise with counterparts from colleges and universities for student counselling and admission.
• Handle and follow up on walk-ins, email inquiries, incoming calls, and leads from recruitment activities promptly to convert into applications and enrollments.
• Provide assistance and advice on course applications, visa applications, accommodation, scholarships, travel arrangements, and other after-sales services.
• Support and execute enrolment activities such as admission registration, Scholar Search events, school visits and related events.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the tertiary education industry, institution offerings, and career & study pathways.
• Achieve targets for student engagement and enrolment (commission based on target).
• Collaborate with the team to share best practices and enhance performance.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferably in education, counseling, psychology, communication, marketing

Responsibilities:

To provide effective counselling services to students, who are looking for admissions in colleges and universities in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.

To liaise with counterparts from colleges and universities for student counselling and admission.

Handle and follow up closely on all walk-ins, email inquiries, incoming calls, and leads from recruitment activities promptly and effectively, ensuring all inquiries have a high conversion rate into applications and enrollments.

Provide assistance and advice to students on course applications, visa applications, accommodation, scholarships, travel arrangements, and any other after-sales services, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience throughout their journey.

To support and execute all activities with regards for enrolment such as admission registration, Scholar Search (annual events), school visits and other related events.

To maintain good product knowledge of the tertiary education industry, institution offerings, as well as career & study pathways.

To achieve the targets set by the Company in terms of student engagement and enrolment (commission based on target achieved).

Collaborate with the team to share best practices and enhance overall performance

Perform any other duties as directed by the management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree preferably in education, counseling, psychology, communication, marketing, but all other fields of studies are encouraged to apply.

2 years and above experience in international enrolment such as Aus, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada (Other countries Will be added advantage)
