Job summary

IEM Dynamic Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an qualified E&I QC Supervisor for a refinery project in Klang Valley on a contract basis. The role entails supervising E&I QC activities, guiding inspectors, and ensuring compliance with ITPs and project specs.

Must have a degree or diploma in engineering and at least 5 years in E&I QA/QC within refinery or industrial settings, with strong leadership and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I QA/QC.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection methods, codes and standards.
• Able to read engineering drawings and ITPs.
• Strong leadership and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all E&I quality control activities at the project site.
• Ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), project specifications, codes and standards.
• Lead and guide QC Inspectors in performing inspections and preparing quality records.
• Review inspection reports and QA/QC documentation before submission.
• Verify that materials, equipment and installations comply with project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Client, Construction team and Subcontractors for inspection and testing activities.
• Monitor quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required.
• Assist the QA/QC Manager in implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and quality control procedures.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain QA/QC records throughout the project.
