Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineer to support project planning, design, site execution and commissioning. You will coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and manage on-site installation works to ensure compliance with industry standards and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in E&I / Electrical & Instrumentation, Oil & Gas, AWQMS, maintenance or engineering projects.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, work schedules, and resource requirements for E&I works.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Provide engineering input for electrical and instrumentation systems such as power distribution, lighting, grounding, control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project and industry standards (IEC, ISA, NEC, etc.).
• Support design modifications and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor and manage on-site E&I installation works through coordination with site supervisors and contractors.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures at all stages of the project.
