Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking a Senior Executive, Engineering to lead Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (E&I) activities in our Penang plant. You will oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvements to ensure reliable operations.

You will manage a team of technicians, coordinate with Production, and drive continuous improvement through system upgrades and digitalization, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation/Mechatronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage E&I activities including maintenance and project works.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and RCA for failures (including DCS).
• Configure, maintain, and optimize DCS, control panels, and field instrumentation.
• Lead and supervise technicians/electricians in maintenance and project execution.
• Coordinate E&I maintenance schedules with Production to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices.
• Review procurement of electrical, instrumentation, and automation spare parts and equipment.
• Monitor asset reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and technical requirements during projects.
• Conduct inspections and audits on E&I systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including system upgrades and digitalization.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Support audits (ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, FSSC 22000).
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Job Description:

• Monitor and ensure reliability of plant assets through preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and technical requirements during project and maintenance execution

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 5 years in manufacturing environment with hands‑on experience in:

• Electrical systems
• DCS programming and troubleshooting
• Control systems and automation
• Preventive & predictive maintenance techniques
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
