Job summary

Luxx Newhouse Furniture Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing, tender submissions, and contract administration. You will prepare estimates, handle quotations, and develop BOQ frameworks for pre- and post-tender stages.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, a Diploma or Degree in Building, Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, and proficiency with Excel and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Building/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in Construction is an advantage.
• Experience in project management or coordination with A1 contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Handle project quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop BOQ frameworks for pre- and post-tender stages.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Manage project costing and align with budgets.
• Measure and submit variation orders (VO) within schedules.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to support sales coordination when required.
• Attend meetings with clients and consultants for design changes.
• Prepare cutlists and shop drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
