Job summary

Mezans is seeking a project coordinator to assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities within our manufacturing environment. You will liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization and attention to detail, with opportunities for involvement in meetings, reporting and new product readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, as this role requires regular coordination with Mandarin-speaking management, customers, suppliers and project teams.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to follow up on multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities and timelines.
• Follow up on project progress, action items and outstanding matters.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing and Warehouse.
• Arrange project meetings and prepare meeting minutes, progress reports and follow-up records.
• Maintain project documents, schedules, specifications and customer requirements.
• Track project deliverables and highlight delays, risks or issues to the Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing project presentations, reports and related documentation.
• Support new product introduction, sample preparation and production readiness activities.
• Ensure project information and changes are communicated to the relevant departments.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
