Job summary

HAG SOLAR SDN. BHD. in Sabah seeks a CAD Drafter to produce precise drawings and high-quality construction documents using CAD software.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and templates.
• Maintain an organized filing system for project drawings and documentation.

Job description

• Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting system (CAD)
• Use CAD software to produce high-quality design documentation, including plans, sections, elevations and construction details
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate and well-documented drawings
• Support the engineering team in the development of project deliverables and ensure drawings meet all relevant standards and regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and drawing templates
• Responsible & maintain an organised filling drawing system, storage and manage & record drawings (hardcopy/softcopy) received for project drawings and documentation involved
• Capable of completing tasks within the given time frame

What we're looking for

• Preferably possess a Technical Certificate/ Dilploma, Advanced Education
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience with good AutoCAD, and other drafting design software
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills and good understanding of construction materials, methods and industry standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
