Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to develop Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Plumbing and electrical models, ensuring alignment with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow. The role involves coordinating with teams to implement BIM standards and deliver high-quality models across construction projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering.
• At least 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Willing to travel or be stationed at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on design changes and model updates.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects.
• Communicate BIM model changes effectively to project teams.
• Maintain quality, safety, health and environmental performance at workplace and site.

• Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects.
• Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams.
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.

Job Requirements:

• At least Degree in Mechanical or related engineering.
• At least 5 years working experience in the construction industry.
• Able to operate AutoCAD, Revit, BIM Software and MS Office applications.
• Willing to travel or station at project site.
