Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM engineer to create architectural, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and electrical models using Autodesk Revit. The role requires aligning models with the BIM Execution Plan and coordinating with design disciplines to ensure quality on construction projects.

You will travel to project sites as needed, manage BIM implementation, and ensure changes are communicated to the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in construction with BIM/Revit.
• Willing to travel and be stationed at project site.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects.
• Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project team

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 1 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software;
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented;
• Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
• Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Willing to travel and station at project site.
