Job summary

TENAGA MIGAS SDN BHD is seeking a motivated CAD / Mechanical Drafter to join our team in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves producing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and CATIA, and developing GA, assembly and fabrication drawings.

You will review drawings, maintain revision records, and coordinate with engineers and suppliers to meet project deadlines. Fresh graduates with CAD skills are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of valves and piping is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Drafting or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and CATIA.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical components, valves and piping is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and/or CATIA.
• Develop and update General Arrangement (GA), assembly and fabrication drawings.

Due to business expansion, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD / Mechanical Drafter to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and/or CATIA
• Develop and update General Arrangement (GA), assembly and fabrication drawings
• Review engineering drawings, dimensions and technical specifications
• Make drawing revisions based on engineering and customer requirements
• Assist engineers with technical drawings, design modifications and project documentation
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers and project teams on drawing requirements

About you
