Job summary

The Solar House Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks a drafting professional to design and detail solar PV systems.

You will produce engineering drawings and layouts, update plans with revisions, and maintain version-controlled documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and site teams, interpreting drawings and specs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical drawing and layout design.
• Familiarity with solar design software such as PVsyst or Helioscope is a strong advantage.

Job description

Support engineers and project managers in the design and planning of solar photovoltaic systems, by producing detailed engineering drawings and layouts for installations.

Academic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent drafting software.
