Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Bhd. is seeking a capable Electrical Design Engineer–CAD Specialist in Penang to produce and verify PV DC/AC electrical drawings and prepare detailed 3D models.

You will ensure CAD standards, support tender and construction drawings, and collaborate with engineers on drawing submissions. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced solar

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with EPC projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Able to work independently and articulate ideas clearly.
Strong follow-up, prioritization, and communication skills.
Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Produce design drawings for PV DC & AC electrical systems.
Verify DC/AC electrical drawings for engineers.
Review drawings and specifications; initiate changes as needed.
Coordinate with competent person for drawing submission/proposals.
Prepare tender, construction, as-built and shop drawings.
Assist in compiling as-built documentation.
Ensure CAD standards and revision systems are followed.
Create 3D models using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/GstarCAD/SketchUp.

Job description

Produce design drawing for PV DC & AC electrical system.
Verify and clarify the DC and AC electrical for engineer in drawing perspective.
Review design drawing or specification deliverables and initiate necessary changes.
Coordinate with competent person for drawing submission or proposal.
Prepare tender, construction, as-built and shop drawing.
Involve in the compilation of as-built documentation
Ensure CAD standards are applied in projects and drawing revision system is followed.
Produce 3-Dimensional model with AutoCAD/ GstarCAD/ Solidworks / Sketchup

Requirements

Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity of handling EPC projects.
Thorough knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks.
Ability to work independently and able to articulate taught with a proactive approach.
Exemplary in follow-up and prioritizing skills.
A mature team player with pleasant personality and positive attitude
Good leadership and communication skills.
Responsible, detail and result-oriented with high integrity honesty and professionalism.
Independent and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
