Job summary

Real Project Management is seeking a skilled Document Controller for Data Center projects in Malaysia. You will manage project documents in ACC, ensure proper registration, tracking and archiving, and coordinate with a wide range of project partners to secure timely submissions and approvals.

The role requires hands-on ACC experience, strong organization, and clear English communication. You will support audits, handover packs, and close-out documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of document control experience in construction, preferably Data Center or large infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on ACC experience including document management, workflows, transmittals, version control and reporting.
• Familiarity with project lifecycle documents, testing & commissioning records, and handover requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and electronic document management systems.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and as-built documentation.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Good written and spoken English; ability to communicate with consultants, clients, contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all project documentation using ACC and other DMS.
• Register, distribute, track, update, archive and retain documents per requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, vendors and clients for timely submissions.
• Monitor document revision status and ensure latest approved versions are used.
• Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence, transmittals, RFIs and document workflows.
• Establish and maintain document control registers, logs and reports for monitoring.
• Support audits, handover documentation, testing & commissioning records, and close-out docs.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all project documentation.
